Restaurant List → Map

Every restaurant you saved, on one map.

A note full of restaurant names doesn't help at 8pm on a Tuesday. Mapped, with hours and how far away each one is, it decides dinner in ten seconds.

Or paste a caption — Instagram often needs either.

What you get back

Notes app: 14 Chicago restaurants, no addresses

Names matched to venues and grouped by neighborhood, so the choice narrows to what's nearby:

  • Kasama Ukrainian Village — the one worth a special trip
  • Lula Cafe Logan Square — 10 minutes from Kasama
  • Giant Logan Square — same block, same night if one is full
  • Monteverde West Loop — different trip, different neighborhood
  • Kumiko West Loop — walkable from Monteverde

How it works

Three steps, start to map

1

Paste the names

From a note, a spreadsheet, a text thread, or a screenshot. Addresses are optional.

2

Each one gets found

Arriv matches names to venues with addresses, and flags anything ambiguous for you to confirm.

3

See it by area

The map groups by neighborhood, which turns a flat list into a decision you can make quickly.

Why Arriv

What mapping a list changes

Proximity becomes visible

Two places you thought were across town turn out to be one block apart.

One list, many cities

Keep a running list per city, and the right one opens when you land there.

Notes travel with the pin

What to order and who recommended it sits on the place, where you'll read it.

Send it to the table

Share the map so everyone picks from the same shortlist.

Questions

Frequently asked

How do I put my restaurant list on a map?
Paste the names, one per line. Arriv finds each venue, adds the address, and plots them, then groups the map by neighborhood so you can see which ones are near each other.
Can I import from a note or a spreadsheet?
Yes. Copy the column or the note and paste it in. Extra text around the names is fine; it gets ignored.
What if two restaurants have the same name?
Arriv shows the match it found with the address, and you can pick a different one if it guessed the wrong location.
Can I share the map with friends?
Yes. Publish it as a guide with one link, and anyone can open it without an account.
